The brush has always been my central art tool, surpassing even charcoal. However I began to drift from the standard use of oils and acrylics early in my art life, and began to experiment... naturally. Fire and film were two of my main items to experiment with throughout my years painting, however at this point I have abandoned both. As well, applying texture to the painting, and layering abstract images. Influences such as the abstract expressionists, as well as the minimalists have always been with me - Piet Mondrian, Franz Kline, Clifford Still, Agnes Martin, Tony Onley - the list goes on.
Stay tuned to this page for more images, which I will post as I get time to take proper pictures of them. A lot of my most recent paintings are very light specific, and change with the lights used on them - a fascinating thing to see in real life, but very painful to recreate for photdocumentation.
